MY APPROACH TO COUPLES THERAPY

I’ll help you through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to couples therapy is direct and comes from a place of hope: believing that neither you nor your partner are the “problem,” but that it’s simply the cycle you’re in that needs fixing.

At the end of the day:

Disconnection and hopelessness don’t have to be your story.

  • In each session we’ll work on getting to the core of your challenges and working towards your goals. In a judgment free space you and your partner can expect to talk things through, learn and practice new ways to communicate, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and each other.

  • It’s hard to say how long therapy will last because every couple is unique. Therapy is tailored to the goals you want to achieve and where you are in your relationship. Although you can expect to spend anywhere from 8-10 sessions at minimum you can rest assured that we’ll be focused on your goals from the very beginning.

  • Couples Therapy isn’t a magic pill that changes everything overnight. It isn’t just about improving your relationship. Couples therapy is an opportunity to understand more about YOU in the context of your relationship. You will find that working with me will not only help you to be more connected in your relationship but provide a sense of intimacy within yourself as well.
